I am working on classifying DNA reads to be of Prokaryotic vs Eukaryotic origin using machine learning models. I am working on building a predictor that will be faster and more accurate compared to alignment based and other existing tools. I have also been inspecting the importance of GC content and it’s role in Eukaryotic DNA.
